CIA Factbook

Plan (USA)  works on a wide range of global issues, including education for girls. Check out the "Because I am a girl" program, which offers an Educator's Toolkit - a great resource for teaching about gender inequality.

Human Rights Watch is one of the world's leading independent organizations dedicated to defending and protecting human rights. Their Multimedia page offers great resources for teaching about human rights. 

International Labor Organization (ILO) is the international organization responsible for drawing up and overseeing international labor standards. Their site offers many resources on multiple labor-related issues. Check out the "Gender Inequality" page, which contains many publications about gender-based discrimination.
